The Company

• Marco’s Leisure is a 3rd Generation Local family business and Leisure operator with multiple sites in Edinburgh
• Award winning venues and leisure operations including Ten Pin Bowling, 5 a side football and Marcos American pool halls.
• Marco’s Pool Hall has 19 American Pool Tables, Karaoke Room, Retro Gaming Stations, Stone Baked Pizza Kitchen, recently refurbished bar and lounge area, Live sports and Jukebox.
• We are now recruiting for a Supervisor to help within our busy Licensed Pool all and leisure venue in Edinburgh.

The Role 

• You will be required to help run our operation smoothly.
• Serving and dealing with customers and helping us achieve a high level of service.
• Opening or closing the premises ensuring that the building is secure.
• Ensure all checklists for service and operations are complete.
• Health and safety measures.
• Cash up at the end of the evening.

The Candidate  

To apply ideally you should have

• Your personal Bar Licence.
• Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience of being behind a busy bar or working in a licensed leisure venue.
• Experience of making cocktails.
• Knowledge of Staff training.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Stock management experience.
• An excellent eye for detail.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Basic Salary £25K (depending on experience) + holidays + pension + tips + opportunity for extra hours if required 

Shifts could include 3 evenings, and 2-day shifts spread over a 7-day period covering 40 hours a week. Latest closing time of the Venue is 1am on a Friday and Saturday, 12am on other nights.

Marco’s are a 4th Generation family business based in Edinburgh, operating 3 sites which include Leisure and Sports facilities, The World Of Football, World Of Bowling, Portal Mini Golf and Marco’s Pool and Karaoke bar.
